Obituary of Branden Pettit
PETTIT- It is with great sadness that the family of Branden Alexander Scott Pettit announces that Branden succumbed to his injuries from a skateboarding accident on Monday, October 5, 2020. Branden was only 15 years old. There are no words to describe how much he will be missed by his loving parents Ange Ralf (John Rutherford) and Chris Pettit and by his sisters Sadie Saris and her son Jaxxon, Faith Pettit and Rogue Rutherford, and by his brother Finn Rutherford. Branden will also be lovingly remembered by his grandparents Dennis Ralf (Wendy Crichton), Lynda Ralf, Janet Tillotson (Stoney), and Judy LaCroix (late Ray); by his great grandparents Yvonne Ralf (late Max) and Norma Ford (late Bill); by his aunts and uncles Craig Pettit and his children Raelynn and Lyndon and their mom Tina, Todd Pettit, Candice Tillotson, Dan (Jenn) Ralf and their children Zack, Hannah, Austin, Nathan, Aiden, Kohen and Tanner, Bill (Danielle) Ralf and their children Darrin, Justin and Raelynn, Caleigh McNutt and her son; by his extended family Grammy Elke Dietz, uncle Aaron Rutherford, uncle Lucas Rutherford; and many more great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his uncle Justin Ralf. Branden attended Parkside Collegiate Institute. He loved skateboarding, gaming and being with his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. COVID-19 protocols will be implemented. In lieu of flowers, please consider bringing in an unused helmet to the funeral home, or making a donation to the Lid Up 4 Branden Fund or the Branden-An Angel Too Soon! GoFundMe page.
