Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Brad Stephen Benoit which occurred unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020. Born 1982, in Saint John, he is the beloved son of Christina (McIsaac) Benoit and step-son to Bill Cook. Brad loved bicycling and adored his cat Twilight. He was well loved by his mother and he cherished every moment spent with his family and friends.
Along with his mother Christina and his step-father Bill, Brad is survived by his step-sisters Sharon (Ed) and Beth (Rob); girlfriend Angela; grandmother Theresa; uncle Jack (Michael); aunts Gilda (Garry), Margaret (Darren); special cousins Lisa and Chad; long time best friend Jay Eatmon; special friend Dan Weaver; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Brad was predeceased by his grandfather Ignatius, great grandparents Michael and Christina, aunt Della and uncles Tony and Paddy.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Friday, October 23rd from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Brad may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
