Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Bond Boyd, age 84 years formerly of Summerford, NL announce his passing at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL on Thursday, November 5, 2020.
He is predeceased by his parents James & Annie, wife Marjorie, sister Barbara Burt, brother Brad and son-in-law Malcolm Wilton.
Left with many wonderful memories are his children Morris (Rhonda), Jim (Melinda), Marvin (Beverly), Daphne Wilton, Eileen (Bruce) Wheeler, grandchildren Martina Anstey, Tara Boyd, Trent Boyd, Shannon Boyd, Mickey Boyd, Brittany Fancey, Nicholas Wheeler, great-grandchildren Summer Anstey, Sawyer Fancey, Emiliana Wheeler, siblings Betty (Albert) Wheeler, Bruce (Pamela), Bernard, Bram (Audrey), Byron (Mary) and Belinda (Bill) Young as well as a large circle of extended family, nephews, nieces and friends.
Cremation will take place. A service will be held at a later date. Donations in Bond’s memory may be given to the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL. In appreciation of all the wonderful and loving care given to him over the past few months.
Bond was never shy to lend a helping hand to anyone that came knocking at his door. There wasn’t an appliance or machine built that he couldn’t take apart & fix as he did for many over the years. Whether it was a stove, washing machine or trike, he could fix them all.
His legacy will live on and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
