MURRAY, Blanche Evelyn (nee Wass)
June 29, 1932- September 14, 2020
Passed away surrounded by family, on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Windsor Regional Hospital- Ouellette Campus, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Robert Murray (1990). Cherished Mom of Darcy Murray, Bobby Murray, late Teresa Murray (2018), Judy (Jim) Stonehouse, Anne (Randy) Green, Richard (Diane) Murray and Cyndi (Mark) Brisson. Loving Grandma of Neil, Jenica, Merna, Taylor, Jody, Mary, late Kathy, Margie, Ryan, Shawn, Robin, Jennifer, Jessica, and Joshua. Great-Grandma to many grandchildren. Daughter of the late Lorne and Rita Wass (nee Tessier). Sister of Barb Charlebois and predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Blanche spent her life raising and caring for her 7 children. She enjoyed making others smile and was always very friendly with everyone. A special thank you to the staff at Devonshire Retirement Home for their care and compassion to our Mom. She is now reunited with her husband Robert and her daughter Teresa. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel (CENTRAL CHAPEL), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7234. Per Blanche’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private burial will take place at a later date at Heavenly Rest. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared at www.windsorchapel.com
