Blanche Doucet 1938-2020

It’s with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Blanche Doucet, wife of Maurice Doucet of Bathurst which occurred Sunday, September 6th, 2020 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 82.
She was the daughter of the late William and Odilla (Couture) Legacy
Besides her husband, she is also survived by her 2 sons: Marc (Mary) Doucet of Bathurst, Luc Doucet of Bathurst and 1 daughter Nathalie (Jacob Lalkens) Doucet of Netherlands.
Four Grandchildren: Jesse Mark (Jesse) of Halifax, Mélanie (Mathieu), Élène (Joël) of Bathurst and Rachelle (Brandon) of Fredericton and many nieces and nephews.
Three brothers: Roger Legacy (Réjeanne) of New Richmond, QC, Lincoln Legacy (Arnolda) of Beresford and Albany Legacy (Bella) of Moncton.
She was predeceased by two brothers: Clifford (Gertrude) Legacy, Léo (Thérèse) Legacy and three sisters: Mary (George) Godin, Clothilda (Edward) Blanchard and Geraldine (Gérard) Godin.
Many people will remember her warm welcome when they went to Tim Horton’s where she was manager for many years.
She will mostly be remembered for her laugh, warm hugs, delicious food made with love, and her unconditional love for us.
She gave us so many gifts in life, the biggest one being the gift of music.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
