Murray William Bird, of Saint-Basile-le-Grand, passed away on December 10th, 2020, at the age of 80, surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Paulette, his children Tina (Jean), Paul (Chantal) and his grandchildren, Alex, Eric, Bradley, Julia, Dérek and Léa.
Born on June 20th, 1940 in Nappan, Nova Scotia to Creighton and Rita Bird.
Much loved brother of the late Garnet (Elaine), Leland (Doris), Robert (Thelma), half-brother Leon and surviving brother Sterling (Joan) and sister Gwyneth.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, he will be greatly missed.
Le 10 décembre 2020, à Saint-Basile-le-Grand, est décédé M. Murray William Bird à l’âge de 80 ans. Il nous a quitté entouré de sa famille. Né en Nouvelle-Écosse le 20 juin 1940 à Nappan, il était le fils de feu Creighton et Rita Bird. Il laisse dans le deuil, son épouse adorée, Paulette Claire Pilon, issu d’un mariage de 55 années, ses enfants, Tina (Jean) et Paul (Chantal), ses petits-enfants, Alex, Eric, Bradley, Julia, Dérek et Léa. Il était aimé de ses frères et sœurs, Garnet (Elaine), Leland (Doris), Robert (Thelma), Sterling (Joan) et Gwyneth, ses neveux et nièces ainsi que plusieurs parents et amis.
Il a été un bon époux, un père aimant, un grand-père adoré, un frère, un oncle et un ami que nous ne serons pas prêts d’oublier.
