Obituary of Bill Tideswell
Tideswell: Frederick William (Bill)
Affectionately known to us a Bill, Frederick William Tideswell passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Friday, May 8, 2020 in his 86th year. Bill will be fondly remembered for his kind heart and gentle demeanor. His love and devotion for family, friends and the Blue Jays will always be treasured.
Cherished father of Wayne, Susan and Mark Tideswell and Brenda Flynn. Memories of a much-loved grandpa remain with Jason Tideswell, Curtis (Stephanie) Tideswell, Chelsea (Cory) Dawe and John Flynn. Proud great-grandpa of Mallory and Emily Tideswell and Hadley Dawe.
Survived by his sisters-in-law Joan Rodger and Barb Chapman.
Missed by his furry companion and co-pilot, Chester.
We trust that Bill’s spirit has been reunited with his loving wife of 54 years,Louise (2011). Also predeceased by his parents William and Lenora Tideswell, all of his siblings and son-in-law Frank Flynn (2012).
Arrangements entrusted to Falconer Funeral Homes, 153 High St., Clinton. Private family inurnment will be held at Clinton Cemetery on Thursday, May 14th.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital or Stratford General Hospital (Intensive Care Unit) would be appreciated in recognition of the wonderful care Bill received in his final days.
