“Bill”
August 21,1926 – January 25, 2020
Bill left us peacefully in his sleep with his loving wife of 72 years, Margie at his side. Bill was 93 years of age.
Bill has been a part of Cranbrook, B.C., since 1952. Helping build up the Community, and surrounding areas. Bill was on the executive committee for Minor Hockey, Baseball, Stock Car Club, and Cranbrook Eagles. From building a cement block plant, in his back yard, to Logging….and finishing his career, with Sandor Rentals. He accomplished so much, but always had time for friends, and family, and fun.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his son Donald Stewart (Debbie),
daughters Darlene Campbell (Gordon) and Brenda Frost (Jim), grandkids Reagan Stewart, Fallon Stewart, Shannon (Jeremy), David Hilchie (Cathy), Jordan Frost (Kayla) and Bryan Frost, great grandkids Morgan, Spencer, Skylar, Zakkary, Lunalee, Paisley and Maklen.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Bill’s honour to the Canadian Arthritis Society impact.arthritis.ca/site/Donation.
There will be a service for Bill on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 11:00am at
McPherson Funeral Services, Cranbrook, B.C.
