Obituary of Bill Stephenson
At Gilbert Hall, Wingham on Monday, March 23, 2020, Bill Stephenson of Belgrave and formerly of Wingham, passed away at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of Audrey (née Cook) Lewis of Belgrave. Cherished father and step-father of Kelly Stephenson, Doug Stephenson, Gloria & John Keet, Bradley & Betty Lewis and Chris Lewis. Bill will be lovingly remembered by Audrey’s grandchildren Arden, Jamie, Jeff, Audrae, Jaden and Whitney. Dear brother of his three sisters Pat, Ruth and Kathy and brother-in-law of Austin Cook and Freda McBurney. Predeceased by his parents Bill & Evelyn Stephenson and his first wife Lillian (1996).
Due to provincial restrictions, a private memorial service will be held on Monday, July 6th, 2020 with Majors Archie & Marie Simmonds officiating. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery. A video of Bill’s service will be available to view on the website shortly after the funeral.
Memorial donations to the Salvation Army, Wingham Corps would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
