On May 22, 2020 at 85 years of age. Beloved husband the late Rosalie (Nee Seguin) (2004). Loving father of Robert Thornton and Patti, Catherine and husband Rick Mailloux, Patricia and husband Dan O’Hara, David and wife Cheryl Thornton, Jim and wife Tammy Thornton, Anne and husband Sean Fox. Dear son of the late Henry and Anna Thornton. Cherished Pépé of Cassie, Caitlin, Travis, Kyle, Nicole, Renee, Kelley, Danielle, Chelsey, Blake, Ashlee, Curtis, Kayla, Colin, Brendan and the late Jacob (1993). Great-grandfather of Mackenzie, Jackson, Carter, Milenija, Nikola, Keegan, Silas, Hudson, Clarke, Brittnee, Greyson, Harper, Benjamin, Caiden, and Chloee. Dearest brother of Donald (Jeannine) Thornton, the late Joan (Bill) Olsen, Joyce Tyler, Neil (the late Dorothy) Thornton, Harold (Sharon) Thornton, Ruth Thornton, Vince (Barb) Thornton. Dear brother-in-law of the late Raymond (Bernice) Seguin, and Theresa (the late Frank) Glass.
Bill was retired from Ford Motor Company, a member of the CAW Local 200 and a member of the LaSalle Ladies & Gents Bowling League.
