Nguyen, Bich
Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on May 3, 2020 at the age of 67. Loving daughter of Long. Predeceased by her mother Thom. Dear sister of Nguyet, Phuong (Ngoc-Hue), Nga (Tam), Mai (Chien-deceased), Hien (Trang), Hong (Martin). Will be missed by her nieces and nephews Linh (Le), Andrew (Rachel), Betty (Daniel), Phung, Doan-Trang, Hanh, Timothy, Marcus and Victor.
She was a loving and caring soul, which was her life because of having listened to the Gospel that gave her spiritual life and spiritual knowledge of how to follow Jesus whom she loved. From that time, her life’s purpose was to serve God and to serve others. Her meditations for the past few years often went to Habakkuk, chapter 3 and verses 17 to 19:
“Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls,
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.”
The hymn “Alone with God” has been a comfort to her throughout the past few weeks of isolation when she became ill.
A private graveside service will be held at United Cemetery, Carleton Place.
In lieu of flowers and donations, please feel free to sign the guestbook.
