Beverly’s Obituary
SABEAN, Beverly Ann “Bev” ~ Age 78, of Port Lorne, It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Wife, Mother and Grandmother who passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late, Albert and Esther (Wamboldt) Meisner. After graduating high school, Beverly went on to study at NSIT, now NSCC where she graduated with a diploma in Administrate Services. After she graduated, she worked in various positions in Metro Halifax doing Bookkeeping and Secretarial work. She most enjoyed the time she spent with the Children’s Aid Society. She moved to Port Lorne in 1969 where she operated a small store from her home from 1979 – 1988. She was also the best stay home mother to her four children. Beverly enjoyed doing Lexicon and Word Puzzles to keep her mind sharp. She loved Christmas, it was her favourite time of the year and she worked hard and diligently to make it special for her family. Beverly is survived by the love of her life, Ronald whom she was married to for almost 58 years. Her beloved children, Ronnie Sabean Jr., Port Lorne, Trevor Sabean, Dartmouth, Crystal (Peter) Batt, Port Alberni, BC; Anita (Ken) Talpas, Greenwood; grandchildren, George, Meagan and Sam Batt, Matthew and Natalie Ann Talpas, who meant the world to her. As well as her sister-in-law, Gail Meisner, Brooklyn; Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, David and John. She taught her family what unconditional love, caring, kindness and forgiveness was. Her family will be forever grateful to their mother for this. Her memory will live on in her children and her grandchildren for many years to come. Cremation has taken place, Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and there will be no service at this time. A service will be held at a later date when the entire family can be together to celebrate Mom’s life.
