Beverlie’s Obituary
Radford, Beverlie Anne – 75, Great Village, passed away Saturday, October 17th, 2020 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Beverlie was the pillar of all of our lives; we raised our family and she was very proud of her friends, family, our children and grandchildren. Bev grew up in the Kelowna area, and spent many days riding their horses and exploring the back woods of Ellison area. Bev has worked hard all of her life to support her family and grandchildren. She has owned and ran two different successful craft stores and a successful sizable flower shop in Salmon Arm, BC. Through our life together we have bought and renovated a few homes then sold them and started again. This home here in Nova Scotia was to be our last fixer upper. We are so very thankful for finding this home here in Nova Scotia as the area and people are so amazing. The one thing that always amazed me was her trusting and nurturing ways. Bev always stood for her family, even in times of disagreement. She never used the “F” word and you could not make her say it even if you bugged her to; I have hardly ever heard her use bad language. In her passing, I want all of you to know she was thinking of each of you and wished you all the best in your lives. She passed quietly in her sleep in no pain or suffering, she will be missed. She is survived by her husband, Bernnarde; sons, Brian, Erickson, MB; Wayne, Melbourne, Australia; Raymond, London, ON; brothers, Lorne, Edmonton, AB; Ian, Erickson, MB. Arrangements in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium.
