Betty Betty Hall 1924 2020

Obituary of Betty Hall
Betty passed away peacefully at the age of 95. Spending most of her life in and around Calgary, Betty was born at Holy Cross Hospital and spent the first two years of her adolescence at Grand Valley, west of Cochrane. Her family then moved to the Springbank Estates area, where the Glencoe Golf Club now sits, before settling in Calgary. Her first job as a comptometer operator was with Alberta Pacific Grain. After eight and a half years she spent four months travelling and working across Canada, meeting and visiting cousins. In 1965, she attended the University of Alberta and commenced her first teaching position at Viscount Bennett High. She also enjoyed pleasant memories of teaching at Western Canada, Ernest Manning and Forest Lawn High Schools. A member of CGIT, IODE, Royal Purple & Stagettes, Betty enjoyed bowling, family gatherings, genealogy, golf and travel.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ruby M. Brown and Arthur H. Hall, her brother Arthur G. (Bud) and her dearest friend and partner Thomas F. Campbell.
Betty enjoyed many visits from cousins and friends.
At her request, there will be no funeral.
Thank you to Amica Britannia staff for all of their care and patience.
