Betty Louise Lindroos June 21 1928 August 24 2020

In Loving Memory Of
Betty Louise Lindroos
Betty Louise Lindroos, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020, at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 92 years.
Betty was born June 21, 1928 in the Stockholm District of Saskatchewan. While working at Charles Camsell Hospital, she met Fred Lindroos who was working at Calgary Power. They were married and shortly after, moved to Grande Prairie.
Betty sold Avon for quite a few years. She was an impressive seamstress who made a number of wedding dresses and figure skating costumes over the years. Bread was never purchased; homemade buns and loaves were common in the house. Betty was also an accomplished bowler and there were many trophies around the house to prove it.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Doug, Laurie, and Glenn; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and former daughter in-law Anke.
Betty was predeceased by her husband Fred Lindroos, daughter Pamela Lindroos, twin brother Victor Knourek, and parents Joseph and Effie Knourek.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 2:00pm, at Grande Prairie Cemetery (84th Ave. & 112th St.).

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Betty Louise Lindroos June 21 1928 August 24 2020..
