Betty Jean (Loggie) Strongman, wife of the late Robert Jr. Strongman of York Care Manor, formerly of Burnt Church, passed away at her late residence on Friday at the age of 89.
Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Morrison) Loggie. She was a retired RNA for the Miramichi Hospital.
She is survived by her daughters; Cheryl Lynn Watson (George) of Vancouver B.C, Cynthia Dawn Drummond (Charles) of Harvey Station NB and Bonnie Strongman of Victoria B.C and her grandchildren Sam James Drummond and Thomas Reginald Drummond.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Georgina MacDonald, Doris Loggie and Mae MacDonald.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
