It is with heavy hearts the family of Bertha Mae MacDonald (nee Clay) announce her peaceful passing which occurred surrounded with love and family at the Souris Hospital on Sunday, December 13, 2020. She was aged 58 years of Red House, PE.
She was a loving and faithful wife of 39 years to her dear husband Boyde MacDonald and a caring mother to her children Marie, Brian (Krista) and Clinton (Jen). Bertha will be remembered as a special grammy to her grandchildren Mason, Dominic, Bryce, Arielle, Silas, Felix, Rosalie, Lily and Selena. She is forever loved and will be missed by her siblings Elaine (Bruce) and Nancy (Alan).
Also to mourn her loss is her mother-in-law Helen and in-laws Karen (Gary), Joanne (Gerard) and Bernard. She will be loved and remembered by her ever supporting and treasured family members Roger and Alice and by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Brian and Bertha, brother Derek, father-in-law Earl and sister-in-law Stacy.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place for family only. A service of remembrance will be held at the Bay Fortune United Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Due to public health restrictions, the funeral will be for immediate family only. If so desired, donations in memory of Bertha can be made to the Bay Fortune United Cemetery Fund or the Diabetes Canada.
