Bernice Kathleen Thompson, of Archerwill, SK, passed away on January 6, 2020 in Kelvington, SK at the age of 96.
She was born on July 25, 1923 to Matthew Sabourin and Clara (Thomas) in Holfast, SK. Bernice was a member of the Archerwill United Church Auxiliary and the Archerwill Senior Centre. She enjoyed curling, shuffleboard, knitting, quilting, crafts of any kind, cooking, gardening, flowers, family visits and bingo or cards with friends.
Bernice is survived by her brother Mervin (Colleen) Sabourin, daughter Nancy (Ivan) Cheropita of Buchanan, SK; sons Bruce (Mary) of Archerwill, SK, Glenn of Saskatoon, SK, Donald of Vancouver, BC, Garry of Prince Albert, SK and Robert (Jodi) of Saskatoon, SK; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Matthew and Clara, brother Donald, grandson Ronald and daughter-in-law Sandy Wicket.
