1925-2020
Bernice Brantnall of Dundas, NB, passed away at The Grass
Home in Riverview on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Born in Dundas, NB, she
was the daughter of the late Herbert and Emma (Ross)
Geddes.
She held many jobs over the years, from teaching school,
office work and finally was employed as a cook on several different
ships on the Great Lakes over her career when she retired at the age
of 71. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, cooking and had a love
for animals especially puppies.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Sharon Hamilton
(Bill) of Riverview, son, Norman Brantnall of Dundas, grandsons; K.
Allan Thurrott of Hefei, China and Chris Thurrott (Sharon) of McQuade,
her cherished great-grandchildren; Kallie and Waylon as well as
several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by
her husband, Edward, daughter, Sheila Perry, brothers, Allan, Charles,
Stanley, Edward and Ross.
The Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral
Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007)
where a private family visitation will be held, there will be no
public funeral service, a graveside service will take place at the
Gladeside Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the SPCA or the
Gladeside Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
