Moncton, NB, – Bernard Bourgeois, 83, passed away peacefully at the Dr. George-L.-Dumont university hospital centre, on Saturday, August 8th, 2020, where he had been a patient for several months.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Wilfred and the late Domethilde Bourgeois (born Léger).
Bernard was very proud of his carrer with the Royal Bank of Canada. He Initially worked in Richibucto, followed by postings at Baie Comeau, St-Georges-de-Beauce and Toronto.
Bernard is survived by a sister, Marcia Biddiscombe (late Edward) of Moncton; his brothers, Conrad(Lumina) of Orangeville, ON and Roderigue (Jean) of Ottawa, ON; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Wilfred and Domethilde, Bernard was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald (Stella) and Les (Eleanor).
In respect of Bernard’s wishes, a private burial service will be held at Cocagne RC Cemetery. A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date.
