Obituary for Bernadette Renaud
(nee Martel)
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Bernadette on July 7, 2020 after a short battle with Cancer at 78 years of age. Loving wife of the late Bernard (2018). Cherished mother of Patrick (Christine), Craig (Kim) and Marc (Christie). Caring and devoted grandma to her 7 grandchildren – Mariah, Nicole, Paige, Logan, Nash, Nadia and Nathan. Daughter of the late Emilien and Elizabeth Martel. Dear sister of Harvey Martel (Cathy). Sister-in-law of the late Tim (Claire); Patricia Beaulieu; the late Jack; Joanne McMurren (David); Michael and the late Bob. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bernadette was a long time and faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Woodslee. She enjoyed square dancing, attending plays and spending winters in Florida with Bernard. Bernadette is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Es on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. YOU MUST RSVP FOR THE VISITATION and FUNERAL MASS AT www.kennedyfh.com. ONLY THOSE WITH A RESERVATION WILL BE GRANTED ACCESS. On Friday, July 10, 2020 family and friends are invited to gather (RSVP REQUIRED) at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Woodslee (1688 County Rd. 46) after 10 a.m. followed by the mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Interment St. John’s cemetery.
