M. Bernadette’s Obituary
LANDRY, Marie Bernadette – passed away at Villa St. Joseph, Dayton on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 80. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Agnes (Muise) Landry. Survived by daughter, Cheryl; granddaughter, Renée and great granddaughter, Ashley; brothers and sister, Albert, Tusket; Arthur, Amirault’s Hill; Lionel, Yarmouth; Fidelis, New Minas and Celestine, Saulnierville. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Agnes; a sister, Rose-Aimée; brothers, Zacherie and Léander. Bernadette loved cats, country music, puzzles and bowling with Special Olympics. She loved going on adventures with her friends Leah, Anna, Nicole, Kathy and all the workers and family at YACRO. She loved to help everyone she could. Every day was an adventure for Bernadette. She was a very loveable, sweet person who loved people. She will be missed dearly. A funeral Mass for Bernadette will take place at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 1 at Holy Family Church, Amirault’s Hill, Deacon Bruce Hubbard officiating. Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions, seating may be limited at the church and social distancing guidelines must be followed. Also, please note that immediate family will be given priority for seating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to YACRO. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth, where you may leave messages of condolence for the family by visiting www.huskilson.net.
