Obituary of Bennie Russell Virtue
Mr. Bennie Russell Virtue was born in Upper Wards Creek on December 20, 1933; he was the son of the late William “Barber” and Irena (Price) Virtue.
Bennie was a kind man, with a gentle heart and a contagious smile. He was a practicing member of “AA” and was employed for 32 years a machine operator with the Department of Transportation.
He will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, Donna; his children: Richard Virtue and his wife Shirley of Knightville, Patricia Virtue of Sundry, AB, Anthony Virtue and his wife Iva of Saint John, Ian Virtue of Sus and Mary- Ann Kowalchuk and her husband Frankie of Edmonton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bennie Virtue of Penobsquis passed away at his home on March 27, 2020 at the ager of 86.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his first wife, Joyce (Graham) who passed away in 1962; his daughters: Mary-Ellen Virtue and Brenda Skoglund; his sons: Eric and Bennie Virtue Jr.; his half brothers: Hazen Virtue and Douglas Virtue and by his half sister, Nellie Hancock.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (506-433-1176). A memorial service will be held at a later date.
