David Lamonte Bennett, beloved husband of Celia Bennett (deceased) passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 3rd, 2020 at the age of 74 years.
David is survived by his five children, David Bennett Jr. of Langdon, Jonathan (Sheena) Bennett of Lethbridge, Penelope (Brian) Dosenberger of Medicine Hat, Samuel (Elissa) Bennett of Taber and Amanda Bennett (Justin Quintin) of Picture Butte as well as many grandchildren.
David was born to Ray (deceased) & Dorothy (deceased) Bennett in Taber, AB on September 13th, 1946. David had a passion for aviation, firearms and the outdoors and served for many years in the scouting program. He owned his own welding business for many years and most recently was a ditch rider/welder for the Taber Irrigation District. David was a kind hearted man that was always looking for ways to help other people in any way that he could.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday November 14th, 2020 at 11:00am at the Taber Stake Centre by invitation only. There will be a live stream available at the bottom of this obituary, for those wishing to watch the service. Burial will follow the service at the Taber Cemetery.
Friends are welcome to meet with the family on Friday November 13th, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the Taber Stake Centre. Please stay in your vehicle until asked to enter the building and bring a mask.
