Peacefully with her loving family by her side at Miramichi Lodge Pembroke on Tuesday November 24, 2020 in her 100th year. Beatrice Grahl (nee Pilatzke) of Pembroke, beloved wife of 73 years to the late Edgar Grahl. Loved and cherished mother of Larry Grahl, of Rankin, Betty Leach (Ed Drotar), of Cobden and Carey Grahl (Cathy),of Rankin. Loving grandmother to Todd Leach (Megan),of Barrie, Jodi Leach, of Kemptville Trevor Grahl of Amsterdam and Tyson Grahl (Tiffany), of Rankin. She also leaves behind four great grandchildren, Marlea and Blake O’Brien, Kemptville and Henry and Violet Leach of Barrie. She will also be dearly missed by her sister Linda Gauthier of Deep River and sister-in-law Orma Grahl of Pembroke as well as by many nieces and nephews. Beatrice was the oldest of seven children born to the late Tom and Louise (nee Gutziet) Pilatzke.
A visitation for Beatrice will be held on Monday, November 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Church in Pembroke, followed by a celebration of Beatrice’s Life and Faith at 11:00 a.m. followed by Interment Zion Evangelical United Cemetery on Boundary Road. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS OF COVID-19 PROTOCOLS, A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE ARE PERMITTED IN THE CHURCH AT ANY GIVEN TIME – FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND VISITATION AND FUNERAL SERVICE.
