Obituary for
Beatrice Ella McTeer (Griffith)
Nov. 30, 1926 – April 11, 2020
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our loving, beautiful and strong matriarch. Known as “Mother Bea” or “Grandma Bea” to so many, Mom was the heart of our family. All through her life, she offered us a vivid example of what it meant to contribute to our community and to always care for the well-being of others. Her passing will bring her again to the side of her late husband John, her late parents Walter and Eliza Griffith, and her eight brothers and sisters. She was the youngest and the last surviving member of her family.
Mom is survived by all of her six children – Colleen (late Gordon Zubyck), Maureen (Joe Clark), Patricia, Pamela (Paul Weagant), Jane (Marcel Lamarche) and John. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, and was predeceased by a great-grandson.
We thank the staff at the Windsong memory wing of the Waterford retirement residence for their caring attention to Mom’s daily needs these past two years.
Funeral arrangements through Hulse, Playfair & McGarry. The Covid-19 pandemic prevents a wake and service. A private burial of her ashes will be held at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Beatrice Ella
