Kostashuk (nee Gould), Beatrice “Bea”
Passed away peacefully on October 16, 2020 at the age of 90 in Windsor.
Beloved wife of the late Edward (1994)
Loving mother of Dr. Edmund Kostashuk & Dr. Mary Chu of BC, Guy & Brenda Kostashuk and Christine & Larry Lesperance all of Windsor.
Cherished grandmother of 7 loving grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Dear Sister of the late Leona and the late Bill Highgate, Roy and Cecile Gould of Kingston,ON, Marie and Jim Allinison of Southgate,MI, the late Raymond and the late Mary Jean Gould, the late Joel and Lucille Gould of Windsor, ON, Predeceased by her brother Edmund Gould and Dale & Barb of Deerpark, Texas.
Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Bea taught ceramics for many years out of her basement. She was very accomplished as a seamstress and mastered many needlepoint techniques. Everyone knew her as a great cook and even better baker, her pies were famous.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers that attended to her at Berkshire Care Centre.
At the request of Beatrice cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
