Hirth, Basilius (Basil)
Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on December 16, 2020. Beloved husband of Mary (Coe) for 54 years. Cherished father to Basil Jr (Margaret) and Pamela (Mario). Loving grandfather to Amanda, Samantha, Basil Michael and Thomasz. Proud great grandfather to Arebella. Dear brother to Mathilde (Schmid). Predeceased by his father Basilius, mother Mathilde, sisters Louise and Erika. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins in Germany especially Ike. Basil was known for his devoted work as a Certified Electronic Technician at Enbridge for 40 years and spent 50 years as a DJ. He will be forever remembered for his love of food and music. Special thanks to Dr. Marcoux family doctor, Nurse Raina and Dr. Graham from the Palliative care team. Basil will be forever missed by his many friends and family.
