ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Basil Augustine 55, of Elsipogtog
passed away at his residence on Friday, September 18, 2020.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Leo Augustine, late
Teressa (Peters) Augustine and his step-father, late Frank
Peters.
Basil will be sadly missed by his spouse, Dianna Levi; one
daughter, Sharon Augustine both of Elsipogtog; two sons, Basil
Augustine (Shaznay) of Shubie, NS, Isaiah Augustine of Elsipogtog and
one granddaughter, Ryah.
He is also survived by eight sisters, Noella Augustine
(Jimmy) of Elsipogtog, Patsy Bernard (Cy), Mary Sark (Darcy) both of
Lennox Island, PEI, Theresa Levi (Robert), Anne Levi (Lee), Carrie
Francis (Brian), Tammy Bourgeois (Neil) all of Elsipogtog, Carol Haley
Legacy of Truro; two brothers, Jimmy Augustine (Bea), Chad Peters
(Jennifer) both of Elsipogtog and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters,
Emma Levi, Judy Bernard, Sharon and two brothers, Leo and
Darrel.
Visitation will begin on Sunday at 2:00 pm, 54 Levi Street,
Elsipogtog until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 10:30 am, St.
Anne’s Roman Catholic Church.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto (523-4252).
