Obituary of Barry Andrew Mercer
Mr. Barry Andrew Mercer was born in Saint John on October 1, 1956; he was the son of the late Thomas and Hazel (Forsyth) Mercer.
Barry was a hard worker who drove transport for Easson’s. He was an avid camper and enjoyed spending weekends at the trailer at TNT when Danielle was a child – He loved fishing and taking in the outdoors.
He enjoyed cooking and loved to tinker with old cars, he was never one to have idle hands.
He will live on in the hearts of his wife, Judy Mercer of Saint John; his daughter, Danielle Mercer of Saint John; his sisters: Eileen Nichols and her husband Doug, Nettia Jones and her husband Lloyd, Lauretta Jennings and her husband Charles and Eva Guimond and her husband Anthony; his grandchildren: Peyton and Breeannah Gallant; Michelle Maillet who held a special place in Barry’s heart; his special niece and nephew: Laura Mercer and Nick Mercer both of Sus; as well as several other nieces and nephews.
Mr. Barry Andrew Mercer of Jeffries Corner passed away at his residence on March 29, 2020 at the age of 63.
Along with his parents, Barry is predeceased by his brothers: Everett, Henry, Donald, Clinton, John and Aubrey and by his sisters: Clara Mercer, Isabell Raynes, Lois McCrea and Audrey St. Amand.
Barry was loved and cherished and will always be in our hearts.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (506-433-1176). At this time all arrangements will be held privately.
