Obituary of Barbara Diane Howden
HOWDEN, Barbara Diane passed away peacefully with son Kerry by her side on Sunday December 27, 2020 at Norfolk General Hospital in her 84th year. Loving mother of Susan Bloye (deceased) and Kerry and wife Sue of Collingwood, dear sister of Clarence Finch of Waterford and Sherry Lowe of Fort Meyers, Florida. Fondly remembered by grandson Byron, her nieces Sarah Finch and Beth (Joe) Finch-Farrell. Predeceased by her parents Sally and Ray Finch, husband Robert (Bob) Bloye, sister-in-law Duch Finch and nieces Rebecca, Angela and Mary. Barb was a longtime volunteer for Crime Stoppers and Norfolk General Hospital and co-owner of Accents Women’s Clothing Store in downtown Simcoe. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover 519-583-1530. For those wishing, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation of Canada or Norfolk General Hospital would be greatly appreciated.   1. John & I lived next to Barbara fo over 16 years at Mill Pond.
    We were always there for each other Barbara was on the board as president twice and she gave the job all she had.Barbara was a good neighbour ,friend and an excellent Sister and mother She love to golf and had tons of friends.She always had a big smile, Barbara went to her store Acents everyday even when she was’t feeling the best.
    Rest In Peace Barb Gone but never forgotten.
