Obituary of Audrey Forsythe
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Audrey (Parlee) Forsythe at the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 4, 2020, at the age of 86.
Audrey was born on January 27, 1934 in Wards Creek to Fred and Geneva (Anderson) Parlee.
Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Edgar, her 6 daughters: Betty (Alfred) Holmes of Saint John, Rose Marshall of Saint John, Mary Doiron (Carson Janes) of Hampton, Kim (Stephen) Law of Hampton, Robin (Scott) Watson of Hampton, and Karey Holloway of Tennessee, her 2 sons: Bruce (Clara) from Saint John and Walter (Wendy) of Hampton, 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter, her brother and sister-in-law Walter and Pauline Parlee, sister-in-law Viola Parlee, and several nieces, nephews and great friends.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Yvonne and Donald Buchanan, brother Ken Parlee, son-in-law Bill Marshall, and great grandson Justin Holmes.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Dr., Sus, from where visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8pm. The funeral service will be held graveside at Trinity Cemetery, Sus Corner, on Sunday 11am. Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be practiced, masks are recommended and hand sanitizer will be provided.
Donations can be made in memory of Audrey, to the Trinity Cemetery or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com
