Obituary of Audrey Chambers
At Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, Audrey Chambers formerly of Wroxeter and Wingham passed away peacefully at the age of 91.
Loving mom of Leone & Gordon Kaster of Wingham, Garry Chambers of Wingham and Lynne & Dale Hunt of Wroxeter. Dear grandma of Stephanie Towton & John, Trevor Chambers & Laura, Angela Miller & Steve, Scott Chambers & Emily and Mitch Hunt & Makayla. Cherished great-grandma of Shelby Chamney & Buddy, Blake Schmalz & Courtney, Abigail, Caleb and Ava Chambers and Chloe and Lacey Miller and great-great-grandma of Jaxson and Cali Chamney. Predeceased by her parents Bill & Nina (née Smith) Wade, her husband Bruce Chambers (1991), Garry’s partner Anna Martin, and her friend Max Oldfield (2010).
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A private family funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Colin Snyder officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Wroxeter Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
