Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, on Friday, February 21, 2020. Audrey Beacon of Alexandria; age 89 years. Best friend of Francis Phillips. Dear mother of the late Billy Beacon, Michael Beacon, Cheryl Black and Justin Black (Amanda). Proud grandmother of Devon. Predeceased by her parents Thomas Ambrose Beacon and Margaret Furlotte; and by her siblings Gordon, Orville, Cyril and Lena. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613) 525-2772 on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 9:30-10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 11 am. Spring Interment, St. Finnan’s Parish Cemetery. For those who wish, Memorial Donations to the O.S.P.C.A. or Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Audrey, a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
