Attilio Buna October 10th 2020

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Attilio Buna on Saturday, October 10, 2020.
He leaves behind his son, Paul (Ann), his daughter Flora (George) and his grandsons Jordan and Conor. He was predeceased by his wife, Arielle in 2013. e He
Attilio was an avid hunter, a passionate gardener and an amazing winemaker.
He will always be remembered for his abundant garden with giant tomatoes and salad sized lettuce as well as his wine that graced many a table at special occasions. He will be missed at the annual Buna golf tournaments which he attended every year, usually decked out in his Moose hat . . . something he treasured from his grandsons.
Special thanks to his care workers from Home Support and Neighborhood Nursing as well as the nurses at Hardyview Lodge who enabled him to live independently for so many years and cared for him when he could not.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital Health Foundation at 1200 Hospital Bench, Trail, BC, V1R 4M1 or online at www.kbrhhealthfoundation.ca
Rest well Dad and Nonno . . . in Nonna’s (Mom’s) arms.
Andreas Schmitz of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with the arrangements.
You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Attilio Buna October 10th 2020..
