Obituary of Arthur C. Buchanan
Mr. Arthur Chester Buchanan was born in Campbellville, Taylor County, Kentucky, USA on June 27, 1955; he was the son of the late Stewart and Eleanor Buchanan.
Art was first and foremost a family man. He was a kind-hearted, smart witted man with a heart of gold. His fondest memories were that of fishing trips with his boys, bonfires with his family and time spent with his grandchildren: Brookelyn, Isabelle and most recently Avery.
He was a great lover of Hockey but a true fan to his beloved Montreal Canadians. His passion for music ran deep and there was nothing he wouldn’t listen to. He also enjoyed singing and writing his own songs and poems.
He was a great friend to all and a proud father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
Art will live on in the hearts and memories of his loving sons: Shane Buchanan of Moncton and Ryan Buchanan of Rusagonis; his sisters: Darlene McPhee, Linda Hardin and Ann Hardin; his brothers: Ronnie Hardin and Charlie Hardin; his grandchildren: Brookelyn, Isabelle and Avery his close friends: Tim, Noble and Albert; as well as several nieces and nephews.
