Death notice for the town of: Medicine-Hat, Province: Alberta
I was saddened to learn of Art’s passing, and would like to express my sympathy and condolences to his family and host of friends.
I knew Art through his distinguished work in the Alberta Forest Service. He was smart, knowledgeable, dedicated , hard working, and successful in all of the many positions he held throughout his remarkable career. He made a positive and major contribution to forestry in Alberta.
Art was highly respected, and very well liked, He leaves behind many very positive memories with all of us who had the pleasure of working with him over the years.
What sad news to learn about Art’s passing. It has been several years since I last saw him and Marilyn but I have many fond memories of our time together. Art was a true leader who made a significant mark to the forestry profession and his loyalty to the AFS and its people was truly remarkable. My deepest sympathy to Marilyn and the family.
I am very sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Peter, he was a great friend of my dad’s and one of the pillars of the Alberta Forestry community.
