Arthur Joseph Bud Kennedy 19362020

Arthur Joseph (Bud) Kennedy
1936-2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our
dearly loved Arthur Joseph (Bud) Kennedy. Predeceased in 2011 by
Carolyn Louise (Snell), his wife of 52 years, Bud leaves his five
children with a lifetime of wonderful memories: Janet, Judi (Brian),
Jane (Kris), A.J. (Christy), and Peter. His kindness and humour are
remembered by his 11 grandchildren: Elena (Nick), Ives (Britany),
Olivia, Amy, Clare, Leah, Kent, Taylor, Emily, Cooper, Amelia, and
great granddaughter, Lydia. Bud was the son of Iva Belle (Walters) and
Arthur James Kennedy. Predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Kennedy and
half-brother Lloyd Tidd, he leaves his beloved sister, Mary (Marty)
Johnston.
A golf champion at the local and provincial level, Bud will
be remembered by his many friends, not only as a master of the short
game, but as a great friend with a warm personality, constant humour
and familiar whistle. His five children will be forever thankful for
all those memories at the farm, for a lifetime of gentle guidance, and
for being a kind-hearted father.
The family would like to thank Dr. Olatundi, Dr. Bandyayera,
and the wonderful staff of Monarch Hall in Riverview. If desired,
please donate to The Friends of Moncton Hospital. There will be a
celebration of his life on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at The Moncton Golf
and Country Club from 2-4 PM. The arrangements are entrusted to
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007). Online condolences can be expressed at www.cobbsfuneralhome.ca
