Memorial Donation
On Wednesday February 19, our hearts were broken as we said good bye to our beautiful daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend Arthesa Dennise Drake (Tese) aged 42 who passed away peacefully at Western Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Tese, as she was affectionately known will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her father George Drake of Stephenville Crossing NL, her only sister Tammy Musseau of Corner Brook, the pride of her life, special nieces; Courtney (Colby), Morgan (Dryden) and Paige all of Corner Brook, brother in law Gordon Musseau of Sydney NS, special life long friends April Hodder and Tina Osmond, special family friend Eric Osmond (Selina), the loves of her life, her fur babies Abby and Chase and a large circle of cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and many friends including her Pearl family whom she was so fond of.
Tese will be remembered for her affectionate smile and the goodness in her heart. She always saw the best in everyone and made friends wherever she went. She had a heart of gold and a great passion for animals especially her kitties. She was predeceased by her mom Margaret Drake in 2007, her grandparents Lewis and Mabel Short, Stanley and Corella Drake, aunt Mildred Samms, uncles; Robert Stewart, Eric Short (Elizabeth), Orlando Tibbo (Lilly), Nathan Crews and cousin Daniel Pittman.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Friday from 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home. In keeping with Tese’s wishes cremation will take place with a burial to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery in the summer of 2020. Donations in her memory can be made to her family or flowers are graciously accepted.
