ARRANCE, Delores (Vedan)
December 31, 1945 — July 19, 2020
Delores (Vedan) Arrance was born in Williams Lake, BC on December 31, 1945. She was a member of the Texele (Williams Lake First Nations) part of the Secwepemc Nation. She passed away peacefully on July 19, 2020, at Kelowna General Hospital at age 74. She leaves behind her daughter Lisa Marie Vedan Arrance; sons Darren Chistopher Arrance, Sheldon (Kerri) Cook; grandchildren Mason Blaze Arrance, Mitchell Micheal Ewasko, Ceara Cook, and Matt Cook; great-grandchildren Teairra Cook; as well as her sisters Jacqueline Vedan, and Juahita Vedan-Whickham. She was sadly predeceased by her loving husband D’arcy Darrell Arrance; sisters Dorothy (Vedan) Jones, Mary Anne Vedan, Margret Vedan, and Joyce (Vedan) Struthers; and brothers Ernie Vedan, Francis Vedan, and Larry Vedan.
The Arrance Family would like to thank everyone for all their kind thoughts and support during our family’s difficult time: the loss of our beautiful mother Delores (Vedan) Arrance.
A service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020, at 10:30 am with a public viewing starting at 9:30 am, both at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 750 Rutland Road, Kelowna, BC.
