Armstrong, Donna Lois
Donna passed away peacefully at the Meaford Long Term Care Centre on Friday, December 25, 2020 at the age of 80.
Born on September 11, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Elsie (nee Gibbons) Smith.
Donna was the much loved mother of Daryl Burk (Mary) of Meaford, Deborah Shaw (Dan) of Meaford, John Burk (Colleen) of Alberta, Dale Burk (Vicki) of Meaford, Janet Juniper (Tim Ryan) of Chatsworth, and Scott Burk of Toronto.
She will be fondly remembered by eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and by Doug Burk of Meaford.
Donna was the dear sister of Mervin Smith (Ellie) of Meaford and the late Carole Risk and will be remembered by her brother-in-law Mervin Risk of Meaford. She will be remembered also by many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment of her ashes will take place at Duxbury Cemetery in Meaford at a later date.
As your expression of sympathy, donations to the Meaford Hospital Foundation or the Meaford Nursing Home Auxiliary would be appreciated and may be made through the Ferguson Funeral Home, Meaford, to whom arrangements have been entrusted. www.fergusonfuneralhomes.ca
