Armande Bouvier 1929 2020

Obituary of Armande Bouvier
1929 – 2020
With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our beautiful mom on April 10, 2020 at the Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie, B.C.
Armande was born near Gavelbourg, Sask on a farm, west of town. She was the third of eight children born to Oscar and Rosa Samoisette. After high school graduation, Armande continued her education and became a schoolteacher.
Teaching was her passion along with raising her five sons. In 1969 the family moved to Sparwood where Armande’s focus was raising her five boys. They were her whole world and the love and memories she created with each and every one of them, will live in their hearts forever.
At the age of 75, Armande moved to Cranbrook, B.C, where she resided for the past sixteen years.
Armande will be deeply missed by her sons, Francois (Bonnie), Martin (Connie), Vincent (Sherry), Denis (Lori), Julien (Heather) and her grandchildren, Brandon, Cassidy, Marc, Sarah, Dalton, Gavin and great grand daughters, McKenna, Hayden and Juno.
We would like to thank Dr.Soetaert and the staff at the Elk Valley Hospital for their kindness during her last days, and the staff at Joseph Creek Care Village in Cranbrook.
There will be a service announcement in the future, when gatherings are allowed.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Armande’s honour to the charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Services.
