1927-2020
Armand Martin of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully at the Hotel
Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on April 16, 2020. Born December 9, 1927 he
was the son of the late Alfred and Yvonne(Ouellette) Martin. He was
also predeceased by his wife Jeannine (Gagnon) Martin; 1 infant son
Ronald in 1963; 3 sisters: Yvette Desrosiers, Rita Boulot, Simone
Cote; 2 brothers: Gerard Martin and Real Martin.
Armand is survived by his 8 children; Colette MacCormick of
Centreville, NB; Claudette Martin (Dale DeLeavey) of Crombie
Settlement, NB; Yvonne Dupuis (Rob) of Hamilton, ON; Linda Nault
(Kelly) of Crowsnest Pass, AB; Raymond Martin of Weaver, NB; Donald
Martin (Diane) of Fort James, BC; Marcel Martin (Diane) of Fort
McMurray, AB and Michael Martin (Tracy) of Weaver, NB; 14
grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Theresa Morin of
Hamilton, ON and Camilla Perreault; as well as many nieces, nephews
and extended family.
A memorial service to celebrate Armand’s life will be held August 29,
2020 from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 11:00 am. Father
Gilbert Doddatto will celebrate. There will be a time of fellowship
following at the home of Claudette Martin.
For those who wish memorial donations to the St. Thomas Aquinas
Catholic Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
