ARDYSS MARIE DANIELLS (INKLEY)
Born in Clinton, Ontario in 1929, and feisty to the end, Ardyss passed away peacefully, on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Innisfree hospice.
Ardyss was pre-deceased by her parents, Alex and Alma Inkley; her loving husband, Grant, “Danny” Daniells; her eldest daughter, Lynda Steffler; her grandson, Jason; and her son-in-law, Harold Schulz.
Mom will be missed by her surviving children: Larry Steffler, Nancy Daniells, Barb Schuett (Brian), Cherie Schulz, Patti Groom (Richard), Jeff Daniells (Nancy), Susie Diamond (Michael), and Valerie Buck (Randy).
Granny/Great-Granny was very proud of her ability to remember to send birthday cards lovingly selected for each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren:

Ardyss will also be missed by her many extended-family members and life-long friends with whom she always kept in touch.
Ardyss loved time spent with her family and friends at her cottage and enjoyed travelling, swimming, bowling, gambling, winning at Bingo, playing cards and excelling at Scrabble! She enjoyed serving as a Farmerette during WW II and being a volunteer driver for the Cancer Society.
We are grateful for the doctors, nurses, mobility drivers and dispatchers, and Highland Place and Chartwell Bankside staff, who cared for and befriended mom over the years.
The family would also like to thank everyone who has made mom’s life journey smoother and more comfortable for her – especially to those who were involved in these last weeks under covid restrictions.
Special thanks to Dr. Vitou, the Palliative team and the LHIN/Innisfree nursing team and doctors who arranged mom’s transfer to hospice where she was able to be tenderly pampered by both family and staff, and given a final farewell with the utmost dignity, kindness and respect.
Thanks for all of the love, prayers and support the family has received during this challenging time. We believe mom is truly home for Christmas!
Cremation has taken place. A memorial/burial service is optimistically being planned for July, 2021.

So sorry for this great loss. She will always hold a special place in all of our hearts. She was a fount of knowledge both of family memories and of scrabble strategies.
