FERRIER, Archie Douglas
~ Passed away peacefully at St.
Luke’s Place, Cambridge, on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the
age of 73. Beloved husband of Carol Ferrier (nee Hammond)
for over 51 years. Loved father of Doug of Cambridge and
Greg (Thomas) of Guelph. Proud grandfather of 3
grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of
Florence, Jean, Jane, Bill, Joe; brother in law of Evelyn (Willie),
Liz (Dan), Joan and son in law of Margaret Hammond. Predeceased by his
siblings; Mary, Margaret, Ray, and Charles
“Chuck”. Doug will be fondly remembered by
many extended family members, dear friends, neighbours, and former
coworkers from Hammond Manufacturing (1969-2001).
Funeral service will be held at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL
– McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street,
Guelph, Thursday, September 10,
2020. The ceremony will be a private one, by invitation only
and masks are required. Please understand that we will be
following social distancing protocols due to COVID-19.
We ask that you do not visit if feeling unwell or
have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19
and further ask that you respect the direction of the funeral home
staff Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
