Obituary of Archi Deb Mukherji
At 4:36 pm at the Regional hospital in Saint John, NB, Canada; Mr. Archi Deb Mukherji left this Earth. He was 86 years young. Archi passed away in room 65B, ward 4CN at the Regional hospital. Archi was born in Kolkata, India, to Ashok Nath & Anupama. He had three sisters and was the second oldest child. Archi is survived by his wife Sipra, by his daughter Atreyi, by his grandchildren Neelanjan & Nilasha, by his daughter-in-law dhriti & by his sisters Nina & Ajeya. His son Raja, tragically passed away on May 22, 2018. Archi was an intelligent, disciplined, honourable and hardworking man. He studied Electrical Engineering in Glasgow, UK and had a very distinguished career as an executive at NB Power- Coleson Cove. Archi in his younger days would build shortwave radios and other gadgets! Throughout his life, if you needed something fixed mechanically or electronically or around the house; he was the person who would solve the problem. Archi loved classical music and spend most evenings listening to music, in his basement office. He loved to read and was very knowledgeable about music & history. Archi also was a very talented photographer & developed the most stunning photographs. Archi always had a special bond with dogs and cats. Animals gave him joy and he took excellent care of Tommy & Maxie. May Archi’s soul be peaceful, joyful, free and happy.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A private funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2020.
