1967-2020
Following a lengthy illness, April Faith Moorcraft of Tilley, NB,
passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on August 3,
2020.
April was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on April 10, 1967. She was the
daughter of the late Roy and Ruth (Millard) Moorcraft. April is
survived by her sisters, Charlotte Moorcraft of Tilley, NB, Darlene
Leach (Tim) of Plaster Rock, NB, Anna Moorcraft of Perth-Andover, NB;
her brothers, Larry Moorcraft (Dora) of Saint John, NB, Reid Moorcraft
(Faith) of Tilley, NB, Kirk Moorcraft (Barbara) of Woodstock, NB,
Kenny Moorcraft (Pauline) of River de Chute, NB; she is also survived
by numerous nieces and nephews.
April really enjoyed gardening, especially flowers. She would always
look forward to summer to when she could plant her flowers. People
slowed down when driving by April’s home to have a good look at her
flowers. She sat on the veranda and waved to everybody who drove by.
He flowers really made her enjoy the heat of summer.
A private graveside service celebrating April’s life was held at the
Currie Cemetery on August 6, 2020 at 2 pm. Rev. Todd McGuire
officiated.
Music for the service was by Rev. Todd and Penny McGuire.
Pallbearers were Larry Moorcraft, Reid Moorcraft, Kirk Moorcraft,
Kenny Moorcraft, and Tim Leach.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover,
NB.
