1946-2020
Anuradha
Medhi, 73 years of age, of East Amherst,
passed away suddenly at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, on
June 11, 2020. Born in Bhandara, India, she was the eldest daughter of
the late Waman Joshi and Vijaya Joshi.
Anuradha was a retired teacher
but she lived her life for her family. She was a masterful cook and a
wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She moved to
Canada 11 years ago to be close to her son and family. She lived a
life full of happiness.
She is survived by her husband of 53
years, Arvind Medhi, son, Tushar (Tammy) Medhi of East
Amherst, grandson, Simon; brother, Chandrashekher Joshi, Mumbai,
India.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased
by her sister, Shobha Joshi.
Her family would like to express their
sincere appreciation to the CRHCC staff for working so hard to save
her and know she was in good care.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction ofJones Family Funeral
Centre 70 Church St., Amherst, NS
(902-667-8777). No visitation. The family will be having a private
ceremony at a later date. Should friends desire, memorial
contributions may be made to the charity of your
choice.
