Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Antonio Ribeiro Dos Santos on August 25th, 2020. He immigrated to Canada in 1966 for a better life and worked in construction. Antonio was a strong kind man who lived life on his own terms and was always willing to help anyone in need.
In his spare time, he loved playing the accordion, reading the bible, tending his plants, having coffee with friends at the Dufferin Mall, playing cards at Mary McCormick, and doing some sort of construction around the house. He also loved to take his wife on dates to the Casino with friends on an organized bus. Antonio was a family man who loved food, especially his wife’s cooking.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Clarisse, daughters Marta (Luis Cunha) and Veronica, his sister Guilhermina Ferraria, brother Jose Ribeiro Dos Santos, nephew’s Frank Ribeiro, Alex Silva (Suzy), Vanessa Silva (George), brother-in-law Jose Silva and large family in Portugal.
The family would also like to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Bridgepoint Health. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Bridgepoint Foundation, specifying the Fund Allocation to Palliative Care: bridgepointhealth.akaraisin.com/Donation/Event/DonationInfo.aspx?seid=3585&mid=50
