It is with heavy hearts that the Rizzo family announce the peaceful passing of Antonietta Rizzo on January 20, 2020 at the Stratford General Hospital, rejoining her late husband of 52 years Sergio. Antonietta age 81 was born in Scigliano Cosenza, Italy and immigrated to Canada in February of 1964. She worked at Cooper Standard for 32 years. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Stratford.
Antonietta will be deeply missed by both her loving daughters Nicolina Rizzo-Graham and husband Clifford of Stratford and Sandra Rizzo-Gallant and husband Joey of Campbellville. Cherished grandchildren are Emily Jacob and Justin Gallant.
She is also survived by her sister Rosa Maccarrone and brother Gennaro Maccarrone, both of Italy. Sister-in-law Ilvana Rizzo of Stratford. Nieces Rosanna Patrizia and Nicolina of Canada, Rossella and Nicoletta, and nephew Alfonzo of Italy.
Predeceased by her parents Luigi and Alessandrina Maccarrone and brother Domenic Maccarrone.

Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, January 24, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Parish Prayer Friday at 1:45 p.m. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Roman Church, 50 Well Street, Stratford, on Saturday, January 25, at 11 a.m. Father Dick Bester – celebrant. Entombment at the Garden Mausoleum, Avondale Cemetery followed by a reception at the Parish Hall.
